Great news folks! Rapidshare is yet again increasing the number of servers they have to store files, as well as the amount of bandwidth available for you to upload and download those files.

The addition of the extra hardware is occurring tonight, and it should help both the download and upload speeds. Whether those effects will be noticeable or not remains to be seen. More than likely Rapidshare is fast enough that premium users are limited by their personal connection rather than Rapidshare. It does mean however that they'll be well prepared for a further increase in popularity, and that all our download speeds will remain fast :-).

Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and they'll raise the file limit for the number of files per account. ;-)
