New Yorkers, in an effort to once again separate themselves from everyone else have once again revolutionized the experience found at your local Pet Boutique and Daycare centers. Starting next month, New York's Dog Spa & Hotel will be introducing a new line of services to offer your pet the most thrilling experiences around: car rides! A new centrifuge unit is being installed which will allow up to 4 dogs (up to 150 lbs each) to sit in a back-seat fashioned cage while spinning in circles to simulate what it is to go for a summer's ride on the country road.
"We find that most people continue to use either the Taxi system or public transit, neither one of which is pet friendly", says co-owner Mark Whitman. "We figured out that a lot of the New York elite want 'Fido' to still get to experience the thrill of wind in their hair."
Among such amenities will include a button on the side to control the raising and lowering of the window. Each individual container will also have a built in radio system to simulate a real driving experience overlaying normal car sounds with one of three local radio stations.
In the initial test trials, 19 of the 20 first fliers leaped from the unit after their ride and continued to stay immediately friendly with their owner and the other four-legged residents after riding. The last of which suffered from a brief spout of motion sickness but resumed normal movement after being given a few dog treats and some water. The Dog Spa & Hotel of New York has always been one of New York's finest destinations for dogs offering boarding, day care, grooming, vet care, training, and boutique services.
